FOCUS ON: How to communicate the CAP to citizens and farmers?
DG AGRI has published an independent evaluation report on its information policy during the period 2006-2013, with a focus on more recent actions. The analysis is based on desk research and a tailored collection of data including fieldwork and interviews beneficiaries, Commission services, national authorities, experts, stakeholders and their organisations.

What's new around the CAP
RDP adoption status
More Rural Development Programmes (RDPs) adopted – ¾ of funds now cleared!

A further 5 RDPs have been adopted by the Commission this week.

In cumulative terms, the RDPs approved so far should generate well over 3 million training places, installation grants for more than 100 000 young farmers, agri-environmental schemes covering more than 28 million hectares and investment in broadband and ICT for nearly 14 million people in rural areas around the EU.
